That's one of the symptoms of nicotine overdose) of nicotine, so I switched from 18mg 80/20 PG & VG to 100% PG 12% and the throat hit is the same to me. Much less vapor, which makes covert consumption easier. It does however have a lower viscosity so iff your unit is prone to leaking this may not work for you.
