STEPPING DOWN NICOTINE
And Nicotine Withdrawal Symptoms

STEPPING DOWN NICOTINE and NICOTINE WITHDRAWAL

I want to 'step down' my nicotine, how do I best do this?

NOTE: Talk to your Primary Care Provider if you have concerns about nicotine.

If you want to decrease your nicotine, start with a comfortable level, then gradually reduce the concentration over time.

Step down slowly, if you feel irritation, out of sorts, or feel like going back to analogs, you may be experiencing withdrawals signifying your nicotine intake is too low for you.

Nicotine withdrawal can begin within a half hour after of your last vape. Symptoms vary based on your level of addiction, how much nicotine you vape (or smoke) daily, and other factors:

NICOTINE WITHDRAWAL SYMPTONS CAN INCLUDE

  • urge to smoke and intense cravings for nicotine
  • sweating
  • nausea
  • headaches
  • difficulty concentration
  • coughing
  • restlessness, trouble sleeping
  • depression, frustration, anger, anxiety or irritability
  • increased appetite or weight gain
  • and other symptoms

IMPORTANT: Talk to your Primary Care Provider if you have concerns about nicotine.
