Nicotine, Throat Hit and Taste

NICOTINE AND THROAT HIT
The feeling you get in the back of your throat

NICOTINE, THROAT HIT & TASTE

RELATED: Base Mix and Throat Hit

RELATED: What Base Mix should I use for my device?

Nicotine adds Throat Hit. That feeling you get in the back of your throat when you inhale on an e-cigarette.

Throat hit depends on how many milligrams of nicotine you select and what kind of device you are using it with (higher wattage, lower resistances etc). The higher concentration of nicotine in your e-liquid, will result in a 'harsher' Throat Hit.

If you are coughing when you vape, the culprit could be your nicotine level (also check your device settings if you are getting harsh throat hits). 18mg+ nicotine levels are high in throat hit and 24mg can be very harsh!.

Adding Menthol also increases throat hit.

Throat hit can also be changed on your device. Using a lower resistance will also increase the throat hit. A variable wattage device will also allow you to vape at higher temperatures by increasing the wattage.

BE SAFE: Do not modify your device and check with your manufacturer for more information.

Our e-liquids are usable in any personal vaporizor that is refillable.
BURNT or PEPPERY TASTE
For some individuals, nicotine has a slight peppery taste.

(Dry wicking material can give a burnt taste and lower the life of your device. Keep your wicks wet!)

A peppery taste is also a sign that your juice needs to steep longer, or you are getting a small amount of e-liquid in your mouth.
